Olympus OM-4T, Tamron SP 400 mm
f/4,
Provia 100F, 1/125 s at f/16. Essentially a "sunny 16"
exposure although it was actually made by taking a manual spotmeter
reading from the hills south of the airfield. The shutter speed of
1/125 s was used throughout the entire airshow to blur the props
("airscrews") to produce images that more closely match the
eye-brain perception. Since all shots with the 400 were panned on a
monopod, the keeper ratio is very small.

Olympus OM-4T, Zuiko 28 mm f/2.8,
Provia 100F, 1/125 s at f/16.
The camera was carefully isolated from the airframe vibration (1930
vintage airliners shake a lot).

Olympus OM-4T, Zuiko 50 mm f/1.8,
Provia 100F, 1/125 s at f/16.
A grab shot that necessitated a quick step over the chalk line
separating the crowd from the aircraft.

The keeper ratio gets much better when the subject stays put.
